Equine Anatomy, Physiology and Biomechanics Workshop

This interactive and hands-on workshop is designed for anyone wishing to learn more about equine musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology, and how this relates to equine movement, performance, injury and rehabilitation.

It is ideal for:

  • Students completing any of TOCES’ equine anatomy and physiology, therapy or biomechanics programmes
  • Equine therapists wishing to undertake CPD
  • Horse owners wishing to update their knowledge


Both TOCES students and non-students are welcome to attend. Attendees may attend the workshop in full, or for individual days.

Held over three days, the workshop is comprised of:

  • Taught lectures delivered by subject experts
  • Practical demonstrations, incorporating the painted and ridden horse
  • Interactive teaching sessions such as dissection, group discussions and case scenarios


Full workshop fee: £250 (£195 for TOCES students)

Fee per day: £90 (£75 for TOCES students)


The workshop is to be offered on a first come, first serve basis. We are anticipating a high volume of interest so early registration is essential.
